    FAQs

    LEAP is a Leadership Accelerator Program that aims to prepare the women in the Maritime Industry to take on leadership roles. It covers four themes, namely; Personal Mastery, Strategic Thinking, Leadership and Personal Brand. The program follows a blended approach of self-paced digital learning interspersed with virtual live sessions and small group coaching. It also provides application orientation through projects, group discussions and simulations.

    If you are a woman in the Maritime Industry who is looking to accelerate your growth as a leader and wants to increase your contribution to your organization and the community.

    The program prepares women professionals to take on leadership roles. It is for emerging leaders. But in our first cohort we had one participant who was already a director, one who got promoted as CXO during the program journey.

    The total duration of the program is 3-4 months.
    The digital learning content is available on our learning partner GlobalGyan Academy’s portal. The learning content could be accessed either on PC (laptop or desktop) and on the mobile through browser. The content is best accessed through PC.
    The virtual live sessions are facilitated through Zoom.

    They would have to invest around 2-3 hours a week on an average throughout the journey

    The program is expected to be launched by mid Sep and the schedule would be released soon.

    The themes covered during the program are:

    Growth Mindset, Strategic Thinking, Leadership and Personal Branding.

    The timetable would be out soon.

    The program follows a blended learning approach with some self paced learning through e-modules and virtual live sessions led by experts.

    The project is an individual project. The participants are encouraged to work on a real business problem (either strategy theme or people- related, or refinement of existing processes etc) or opportunity.

    The access to the digital portal is available for 6 months from the date of launch. This portal is a repository of all the digital learning modules and recording of sessions.

    Yes, you get certified at the end of the program if you complete all the digital learning, attend all the live sessions and complete the project. It is a completion certificate that will give you an edge over other candidates and help you excel in leadership roles

     

    It depends on the batch!

    • For our IMO-sponsored batches, we only accept 30 participants (only for WISTA and WIMA members).
    • For batches sponsored by companies, we encourage your company to sponsor your fees. We are also approaching other companies to sponsor your fee on your behalf

     

    In the meanwhile we urge ladies to sign up for our membership program which is a good way to start learning.
